ある時、蓮昌寺の境内で飛び立つ鳩を見て自ら、飛ぶことを思い立った。

One day he took a walk to this temple,
he saw mony pigeons flapped away suddenly.
Koukichi was shocked at this sight. So, the idea flashed into his mind,

Which he could fly if he attached wings like a bird.
